Emily and Tyler's school raised money in the fall with a walk-a-thon and race. Tyler wouldn't run in the race, but Emily was more than willing. She practiced in the morning making sure her shoes were speedy.
She anxiously waited for her big moment.
The horn sounded and Emily took off. She missed first place by a hair. That is her in the white just behind the winner. She was quite upset about not getting a trophy, but Tyler did console her this time by telling her it was just plastic anyway and candy is so much better. Way to go Emily!
