Girls Camp 2010

Entering Young Women's also means going to Girls Camp for the first time. Megan made it to 12 just in time to go in August. They stayed in a yurt up Logan canyon for 2 nights and 3 full days.
They played hard.
The girls all made matching pillow cases before they left. I helped with that activity and I can tell you teaching girls to sew is almost like teaching scouts to cook.

Wendell spent a day and night with them as a the priesthood chaperone and took all the pictures.
Megan loved being with the older girls and doing all the activities.

The new favorite thing to do is tree ride. They found trees that were bendable and all the girls rode them like horses. Wendell said the funniest thing was the snipe hunt for the Beehives. He said Megan attacked like they were wild animals.
Megan got injured running and had to take a break with an ice pack. She definitely knows how to play hard.
All the girls and leaders in their matching shirts. Megan had a great time and will actually go again---that is more than I can say from my Beehive days.
