County Fair

This year when we went to the fair we saw the usual crafts, vendor booths, few animals, and then we went to watch Win it in a Minute. They asked for volunteers and Emily, Megan, Wendell, Danny, Heather and I went up.
We were put in teams and the first person to empty the ping pong balls got to advance to the next round. Emily won me and Megan's technique definitely got her a spot in the next round. Heather won Danny and got to stay on stage.
Megan's first challenge was to put a puzzle together. She luckily got a second try and made it to the next round.
Emily had to pull all the tissues out of a box and did it with time to spare. They then competed in 2 other events each before they just ran out of time. The good news was anyone left on stage received $40.00. Emily and Megan were thrilled. That much money to a 6-year-old is like gold.
After the show, they were drawn to the rock climbing wall. What is it with our kids and climbing?
We then went and got their winnings. Two crisp $20 bills for each of them. Those are real smiles of joy. Tyler was mad he didn't go up when he saw they actually got cash.
Megan had to try her hand at the mechanical bull.
And what is a fair without overpriced rides. The tunnel on the "fun house" was the hit.
Megan rode it clear around and was an attraction. It was a fun and profitable night at the fair.
