On April 30th, the state tumbling competition was held in Heber. We made the trip in the freezing cold to watch Megan. She had been nervous all day. I think she was shaking from nerves and not from the snow. Her first pass was super fast and she didn't fully complete the last pike. Her second pass was the best she has ever done, but we were very nervous waiting for the results. I'm glad I'm not a judge because I'm not sure what they look for.
When all was said and one Megan ended up getting 2nd place. She was thrilled and we were pleasantly surprised. She worked hard all season and it definitely paid off. Now on to Nationals.
