Emily's Big Reveal

For some reason, Megan insisted on being in this picture. This is actually Emily's room---Nice and pink!

It's quite amazing this was our junky den with piles so high we had trails to walk. Now it is Emily's domain. She was so excited to sleep in a real bed and have her first own bedspread. She used to tell everyone she slept in a drawer (meaning her trundle). It was really quite fun to paint the pink and turn it into a "princess room." The best part is Emily and Megan actually sleep in their beds and are happy as clams to have their own rooms. We really thought when we started this project that the beds would go unused.
Now they have a place of their own and Emily has taken all her friends to show them she actually has a room. It has been about 3 months since she had somewhere that was her own.
